Kurzweil 3000 Pioneer Award - Roger Rachow

In May 2005, Kurzweil Educational Systems, Inc. presented its first Kurzweil 3000 Pioneer Award to the late Roger Rachow in recognition of his vision, evangelism and perseverance to help all students succeed in the classroom.

As the Assistive Technology Consultant for Area Education Agency 13 in Southwest Iowa and Council Bluffs, Iowa, Roger epitomized greatness as an educator because of his dedication to bettering the lives of children with disabilities. His tireless quest on behalf of all the students whose lives he touched is the positive legacy that Roger left in this world.
